I was born at Ocean Springs Hospital, part of the Singing River Hospital System, and reside in Latimer. I am a life long resident of Jackson County, MS. I have had the opportunity to travel outside the state several times. This travel has allowed me to see ways of improving Mississippi.
I have also gained a lot of insight from living in Mississippi and experiencing Mississippi first hand. I started working at Sicily's in St. Martin in 2008. I continued to work at Sicily's as I worked towards a better education. I gained an Associates of Arts degree in History from the Jackson County Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, after two years of hard work.
I did not stop my pursuit of a good education and transferred to the University of South Alabama. After another two years of hard work I received my B.A degree from the University of South Alabama with a Major in History and a Minor in Political Science. I am currently pursuing my Masters at the University of South Alabama while working at Sicily's in St. Martin. Working at Sicily's has allowed me to pay for my higher education.
